Reviews

Pleasant site, staff very helpful, and most important accommodation spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend.
Mrs S, Bedlington, Northumberland
24 March 2011

I would recommend this holiday to others as it was value for money. My 2 grandsons (5 & 2) had a great time on the site and there was plenty to do. The site was a short walk away from the town centre which meant once we parked the car beside our pitch we were able to relax.
Mrs R, North Shields
21 March 2011

Very well situated, caravan park great for visiting the Cheviots and the coast.
Mr P, Whitby, North Yorkshire

The Riverside Country Park is very clean, picturesque, and the accommodation is very clean & well equipped. A very good area for low to medium level walking, and not too far for a day at the coast. A wonderful holiday. Our first time in this part of Northumberland.
Mrs S, SCUNTHORPE, South Humberside

08 June 2010

Riverside is a perfect campsite, spotlessly clean and the caravans are brilliant, the largest we have been on. We took our dog and there is a great dog walking field next to the camp. We do long walking and the area is perfect for visiting lots of lovely places.
Mrs R, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
30 May 2010

Riverside at Wooler is a beautiful site, our accommodation was excellent - very clean and with modern facilities. The site is in a excellent location for visiting all Northumberland tourist attractions and is only 5 minutes walk into Wooler where there a several pubs and restaurants/cafes. The site itself is quiet but with Wooler so close it is exactly what we wanted. Staff were all friendly and polite and the site itself is spotless- there was always someone watering the plants, cutting the grass and picking up litter (not that there was much) We will definitely book again the next time we are in Northumberland.
Mr H, MAIDSTONE, Kent
09 May 2010

Lovely, quiet park in beautiful surroundings. Just a short, pleasant drive to the coast and many castles. Highly recommended.
Ms W, SKELMERSDALE, Lancashire
13 April 2010

This is a great location for holiday makers with dogs. There is a large field onsite where dogs can be exercised and we were only 25minutes away from the fabulous beaches at Bamburgh. The staff on site were very friendly and professional. The caravans were very clean as was the site itself. We would definitely return in the future.
Mrs B, HARROGATE

A lovely, quiet and secluded park but near to a local village which has plenty of ammenities, including fresh meat and veg, a Co-op and eataries (eat-in and take-away).
Mr B, SUNDERLAND
18 November 2009

The park was beautifully kept, and when our charger for our sat nav failed, the lady in the caravan sales office was kind enough to charge it in her own car. Without this help we would have been stuck in the caravan for the duration of the stay - thanks Lindsay!
Ms S, Edinburgh, Midlothian

The biggest and cleanest caravan we've ever stayed in. A really nice park, and well laid out with a lovely river and fishing pond. There were loads of rabbits, a swan (and a heron) to keep the dog entertained/terrorised! I definitely would love to go back, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world. Wooler itself and the whole area in general is a wonderful place to visit!

13 October 2008

The location was pleasant and peaceful with staff who were friendly and helpful. The location was a good base to venture south for Hadrians Wall and then north for the south East of Scotland up to Edinburgh. We found this an ideal base location to investigate a part the country we had not visited before. Providing one was prepared to drive upto 50 miles there were plenty of places of interest to visit and explore; especially if interested in history from the roman era todate.
Mr F, Trowbridge

Mrs R, Washington
29 August 2008

It was the first holiday we had taken our dog, and we thought that we would have been given accommodation maybe a little bit more battle weary and in a less desirable location than non-dog owners, but this was not the case the accommodation was immaculate and the position of the accommodation was the best we had ever been in. Thank you.
Mr J, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
